a birthday, a birthday, #3 birthday... for MAX

{Truth be told... we celebrated Max's birthday one week early - on the 11th. It's a biting nails moment for me. But I didn't lie and tell him it was his birthday - only that we were Celebrating his Birthday and Having a party. He LOVED it ... all 3 days of mini celebrations. Hopefully this 3-year-old won't be traumatized by it when he reads this someday. It's just that Jimmy and I were going to be out-of-town and that was the only weekend the babysitter could come, etc.}

So ... Yes! A happy birthday celebration for Max. Yesterday was his real birthday so he is officially 3. In January he will be the youngest Sunbeam in our Primary as well. We'll see how that goes - wiggles and all.

We sure love Max and all the joy, smiles, and laughter he brings to our family. We have a few goals to work on with Max in the next few months... graduate to underpants. Learn to say more sentences (speech therapy - here we come!).
Just to share a few funny tidbits from church today. During the opening song of The First Noel, Max sang with all his heart... only he didn't sing any real words or know the tune. The people in front of us kept eyeing our row wondering what was going on. I loved his sincere singing with his hymnbook open on his lap.

Also during Sacrament Meeting he burped, said excuse me, meowed, sang... and I'm sure a few more silly things. And then he cried that there was no nursery today. Anyhoo... we love Max!
