Gratitude Journey : November 4

The ability to DIG DEEP: for when 2-year-olds are in time-out for screaming at and hitting mom ... all within 3 minutes of waking up... mama needs to DIG DEEP. When the 1-year-old bites and pinches and then screams a tantrum when mama sings Twinkle, Twinkle... all before 8 a.m., mama needs to DIG DEEP. I'm grateful for the reservoirs from which I have to DIG. Some days I have no reservoirs to dip from ... but I'm grateful for any reserves which are a gift from God.

A working car: The oh-so-cool mini van hit 150,000 miles today. I'm glad - oh so glad - it's still functioning. It's been paid off for a few years and it's nice not to have that $300+ car payment. Keep goin' lil' '99 Toyota Sienna!

Popcorn: today's after-school snack was popcorn popped on the stove (my new favorite way!!), apples, and cheese. I liked it.
