Gratitude Journey : November 17

happy-slappy-feet: this morning I held Truman's hand and we walked across the kitchen floor to the living room. His little steps and feet went slap-slap-slap. Cute little boy.

4:00 cookies: Yesterday I realized that once again I was making cookies at 4 p.m. instead of dinner (but we were having leftovers.... so... i guess it was okay??). But I've realized this about myself: I loved to cook before I HAD to cook daily. So on the days when I start dreading fixing dinner, I opt to make cookies or rolls instead because I feel like I CHOSE to do it. ... silly - really. Because obviously I can choose whether or not to make dinner too.. plus, the inevitable task of dinner prep still looms. But anyhoo... yesterday's creation was Snickerdoodles... and they have been quite delightful for all. Max calls cookies, "Hickeys". It makes me laugh every time.

Holiday Tunes: Today, I turned on some Christmas tunes. Winter Wonderland first came to mind so I figured I'd listen to it. Loved me some Christmas Cheer today while I cleaned.

Inspiration from Others: I see this so often in people's examples, their words, their testimonies, their smiles, their service to others, their blogs, their creativity, their lives. Here's a video I saw today that brought more LIGHT to my heart. I do love taking a peek at living-inspired.com products. Bright, clean, fun, creative, inspiring ideas. And now for the enLIGHTenment:
