Gratitude Journey : November 16

HOPE: so grateful that Christ gives us hope... for eternal life... and everlasting joy.

more of Hope Valley in England ...

Kindness: I'm grateful for those who are kind (even when I'm grouchy)... for those who assume the best of me and my family... for those who think of something kind to say instead of being negative. This week I'm working on having kind thoughts (especially towards Jimmy's manager)... and I'm reminded how much better we feel when we are kind in our thoughts and words. I want to be kind... always.  sigh...

Light Rays: When driving home from SLC today there were some mighty stormy clouds ahead. And then... {enter angelic singing...} gorgeous light rays did SHINE down upon the land... well, the point of the mountain anyhow {I pretended it was the Draper temple... enter MORE angelic singing}. Beauty!

Talent: I came across these beauties today and was glad for talents of all kinds. It is an interesting world. Now I want to learn to make beautiful paper flowers. Just because.
White paper flowers by Davina & Daniel
Speaking of crafty flowers, one day when sitting in the eating place at Ricks College back in 1995-ish... (what in the world was that called - the Viking?)... anyhoo... I was having a drab day. Who knows what was wrong, but I remember I was glum. This boy I didn't know brought me a rose made from a white napkin and said something about having a good day. And that sure cheered my spirits. Cheering a stranger's day is indeed a talent too.
