Steroids: Not the kind that turn you into the hulk... the kind that save a lady from her amoxicillin reaction ... and the kind that help a 2-year-old who has the dreaded croup. Max went to the doctor today. He just wanted a band-aid (and a rootbeer dum-dum sucker). I guess he got his wish since he needed a steroid shot. He was pleased as punch to get an Elmo band-aid. As we drove away from the doctor's, he said, "So Fun mom. So fun." Yes, we love steroids that keep us breathing and itch-free. We also love when 2-year-olds take an oh-so-needed yet rare afternoon nap.
The Temple: It's good... even when a certain person drives all the way (in traffic) to the Mt. Timp temple and sees an empty parking lot and closed temple. ... and then drives all the way (in traffic) to the Provo temple and walks a mile up hill (both ways!) in the frigid temps ... and then sighs in relief to be sitting in a quiet place (save those college students chatting) and enjoys the glorious circular hallways and brilliant chandeliers... and utter spiritual goodness.
