I haven't a big scrapbooker lately. But I'm likin' what I did this summer... to put a collage of 12 photos together for each week... (and a few extra for big events).
Most Sunday evenings I spent an hour putting it together for the previous week. I had to do a bit of catch-up on a few weeks. But overall, it helped me feel like I got it put together. It's nothing super cutsy-poo or froofy, but it's documented somewhat. And now when I have a free shutterfly book code, it won't go to waste and I'll have pages ready and waiting! Yay!
I'd love to continue this format just to offer a quick glance at our life. I feel like the days and weeks blur all together and it helps me see the fun things we do in between all the chaos in our family.
The kids are good and they see good in the world. I like that about them. They teach me to see the good in all that is around me.... even if it all blurs together by the end of the week. I guess that's why writing a daily journal of tender mercies is a good thing too.

I had a friend do this all growing up and I loved it. Obviously they weren't on the computer at that time so it took her lots of cutting and pasting but I remember her family just loved looking at them and still does.
