i can hardly believe that this is the last full week of summer vacation. sigh... it went by fast. we did a lot of 'colorful' things. we didn't do all i planned, but i think we did well under the circumstances. i think the kids had a fun time doing lots of laid-back stuff at home in the backyard... and hopefully we got out enough that we won't go too bonkers this winter when cooped up at home.
- Living Planet Aquarium... mostly we wanted to go to see the new penguin exhibit. They are so funny to swim so fast and jump out of the water so swiftly. We loved the jelly fish. Abe loved the sharks. Hannah liked the seahorse fish. Max liked Nemo. Photos turn out horribly in there. Oh - and the Macaw was fun to see... so bright and cheerful. It did some tricks and mimicked for us.
- Fun with friends - Abe had Jacob over. They sure are boys...!!!
- Max - a funny boy... drawing all over everything with the sidewalk chalk.
- Hannah got a fun short haircut. She walks around smiling.
- Aunt Julie and Brock got married on the 21st. We couldn't go. :( But she came over and tried on her dress for us. Cute girl!
- Max and Truman had a few incidents with the hose this week. Mostly it was Max getting Truman soaking wet. They both had fun outside... then enjoyed a bath inside to warm up.
- Max is hilarious with his chopsticks... eating peas!
- Tru gets to go up into the swingset. Oh fun summer!
- Bubbles brighten any day!
- Make-your-own pizza night. Max is crying because Jimmy scolded him for the mountains of cheese he piled on there.
- It's always fun to go visit grandma price. This time cousins were there to play with too.
- Temple square with just mom, hannah, and abe. the kids loved seeing the statues of the prophets and watching the videos downstairs in the visitor's center. They even got a picture with the prophet on his 83rd birthday.
