Where the Wild Things are... Cabela's

Today we ventured to see the land of wild animals... over the river and through the woods... or rather... across 1-15 freeway... to Cabela's.

Highlights:
~ Abe did a great job reading the name of the animals.

~ I couldn't believe my friend Stephanie has moose in her backyard eating her flowers. Those are HUGE. aakk!

~ Abe thought the statue of a person was real... meaning dead and stuffed. Oh how we laughed.

~ Hannah liked the white animals. Go Polar Bear!

~ Max liked the lion. Rrrrrrroar! Abe told Jimmy upon our return home, "There was a boy lion and a girl lion and they were trying to eat a MOOSE!" (see lower left photo). I laughed about that one... Africa meets Alaska.

~ Hannah does a great catfish impression.

~ Not sure what's going on with some of the kid's poses in the photos. They were roaring or acting like animals, I suppose. Makes life interesting!

~ We think Bambi's mother is lovely. Poor her to end up stuffed in a wilderness store.
