Once upon a time in May 2008, we started our Utah Temple Tour... the goal being to go to as many of the temples in Utah as we could. Well, we've gone to 5 thus far... Logan, SLC, Oquirrh Hills, Mt. Timpanogas, and St. George. Only 9 more to go after today's temple tour adventure. We better get to it!
Today we made our way to the Jordan River Temple since it was a fine sunny day.
The kids loved it. They ran and ran and ran all over that huge hill of grass in front of the temple. Hopefully they weren't too improper.
The view from the temple (can you spot the 3 running tots?)
This temple took 2 years to build. It was started in 1979 - 3 years after I was born. I love these words that we read aloud.
My favorite photo of the day. My camera was super slow... Max was super fast.
Max also tried to take a bath in the fountain. Luckily he didn't get any further than pulling down his pants. Yikes!
One cute thing about Max lately is his Cha-cha-cha version of "I love to see the Temple." We like to sing a Happy Birthday song cha-cha style. Well, one day I was singing I love to see the Temple and Max kept wanting to add cha-cha to it. Hopefully it's not too irreverent for a 2-year-old to enjoy that song cha-cha style. The angels in heaven have a sense of humor - right?

I love it! I'm sure the angels have a sense of humor! :) I'm sure they loved seeing little Max and all of you. And look at the beautiful sunshine and green grass you have! May we come visit?
