Hello!
We live in Lehi.
It is very windy here.
Almost like Idaho.
Almost.
Yesterday the wind did not stop blowing.
Last night it was a mighty wind.
It was the night to put out garbage cans.
Why is it always windy the day the trash service comes?
We didn't sleep well.
The noisy feisty wind disturbed our sleep.
Hannah was up 3 times.
Truman was up 3 times.
Mom hardly slept a wink.
She was worried about the swingset blowing over onto the new fence.
She worries about things she can't control.
Sigh...
And finally it was morning.
And we checked on the swingset and found this sight.
Now that we have a fence the tumbleweeds can't blow through our yard.
We now own lots of lots of tumbleweed.
Want one? We have plenty to share.
Our neighbor no longer owns a trampoline. It blew to shreds.
I'm glad it didn't blow into our house.
Very glad.
I think we could all use a morning nap.
And maybe an afternoon nap as well.
And some hot rolls and heart-warming soup.
For it is a windy, rainy April day.

We have had lots of bad wind also.. and our trampoline took the brunt of it. It moved our tramp from the grass and onto the cement by our fire pit and it bent one poll from the net enclosure and broke another one in half.. so we had to buy a new net today. It was crazy! Glad your swing set didn't tip over.. but I will let you keep those tumbleweeds ha ha!
oh the worries of a mom...I couldn't sleep either- I think you guys are getting the wind storm we had a couple days ago. I was worried the whole night about my new fruit trees! And of course my husband slept through it all. I finally went into the girl's room which has a sound machine and I finally fell asleep.
kind of scary- you never know what mother nature will bring these days...
Look how good the playset did, though!
our neighbors are putting up a fence so we will be collecting all the tumbleweeds that blow through too.
I am not a fan of the wind. It was really strong the other day too.
