On the Mend

Here is sleeping Tru this morning. He loves to snuggle his nose into blankets or burp rags.

I think Truman is finally on the mend. RSV is sure an icky thing for little ones. We went to the respiratory clinic at the hospital to get him suctioned out 3 times over the past 2 days. He sure didn't like that one bit.

His breathing rate was pretty high yesterday and he was extra wheezy. He didn't drink as much as usual yesterday which does not make for very good hydration. The respiratory therapist said he was on the worse end of things yesterday morning so we had a watchful day. Obviously he wasn't bad enough to be in the hospital and I'm so grateful for that.

By early evening she thought he was breathing slower and was less wheezy. I love nice and gentle medical helpers. Thanks Kathy for taking care of wee little Tru!

I'm so glad his bronchiolitis wasn't any worse. I sure am a worry-wart mother when my little ones are sick. Hopefully we're on the up-and-up today with Tru's health. Be Strong buddy!

Oh poor little guy. My nephew had RSV and I know it can be so scary. There's nothing worse than watching your babies suffer and there's nothing you can do to help. I hope he continues to get better.
