It's gonna be a BRIGHT... bright... bright... SUNSHINY day...

I went outside to get Abe from the bus... and noticed the bright, bright, glorious sunshine. I miss the sun when it hides behind the clouds in wintertime. I think the sunshine today is a sure sign that there are good things going on in my life. Just gotta be aware so I don't miss 'em.

On Sunday in my sacrament meeting talk I mentioned TENDER MERCIES. I love Elder Bednar's talk about this.

"The Lord's tender mercies are

the very personal and individualized blessings,

strength,

protection,

assurances,

guidance,

loving-kindnesses,

consolation,

support,

and spiritual gifts

which we receive from and because of and through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Truly, the Lord suits "his mercies according to the conditions of the children of men" (D&C 46:15)."

It reminded me to BE AWARE of the good things in my life... especially those extra special blessings that come right when I need them. The Lord is aware of us and sends Tender Mercies to remind us of His goodness and watchfulness.
