a birthday, a birthday, a very happy birthday

On Saturday I celebrated my 34th birthday. Hurray-hurray-hip-hip-hooray!

My main birthday request was to take a nap without crying, whining, noisy kids outside my door. And although that didn't happen too swell, I still had a fine day. The kids and Jimmy made extra efforts to make it nice. And Jimmy made it possible for me to sleep in Sunday morning so that was nice.

I loved going to the temple with Jimmy Saturday morn. My mom watched all 4 tots while we went to do sealings (for family names) with my dad who is a sealer in the Bountiful Temple. It was oh-so-quiet at the temple and I loved doing sealings, being with Jimmy and my dad, and sitting in the Celestial Room.
S - l - o - w and q - u - i - e - t ... love that!
Hannah and Abe regifted and wrapped some lotion and Abe's toy Turtle (named Testudo). They used Christmas wrapping paper and did it themselves so that was cute. Hannah found an unused greeting card from year's ago and wrote a little message in it, "May all your wishes come true." I love those gifts from the heart!!

Hannah also set the table for breakfast and made party hats and decorated plastic cups. My mom made a tasty mud pie. We put 7 candles on it.... for you see 3+4=7... so that makes me 7 years old?? eh?? Abe helped blow out all the candles before I even got my breath ready. Max was delighted to see the lights... ah-oh-eeeh! Delight...
(Oh - and I love that photo in the bottom left corner that Hannah took ... we've still got Christmas stockings hung, there is smoke in the air from the match, Max's expression is filled with glee. ... normal life moments)
