Even though I'm goober tired & would find utter delight in heading to bed, I'm hanging out with this cute kiddo instead. He's keepin' me company on this New Year's Eve (or rather... I'm keeping him company since he's the one delaying bedtime). Everyone else in the fam is in bed at this 11 o'clock hour snoozing away. Hopefully Truman will zonk out shortly so we can get our beauty sleep.
For our New Year's Eve celebration we had Jimmy's siblings over for a nice supper. Max went to bed at 7. Then we had a mini wii sports tournament. Abe won the Swordplay. He rocks at that one because he's so super speedy. Hannah won at wakeboarding. You go Girl! Jimmy won at Basketball... of course. Uncle John won at Table Tennis. Hannah made paper ribbons for everyone earlier in the day and you should have seen Abe's glowing expression when he was awarded his. Hannah spent much of her day making wall decorations for our celebration (see huge sign below). The kids also played in the snow with neighbors.
Adios 2009. We liked you. We hope 2010 is just as good to us.

his hair is KILLIN' me. i love it. what a funny little guy. our kids love making decorations like that too. it's our favorite thing to walk upstairs to be greeted with cheerful greetings like that. awesome.
