Happy Birthday Max!

This is Max. He likes pickles... and oranges. But together? He also likes boots... all kinds of boots. He likes his baby brother. He likes to wash dishes. He is good at emptying the dishwasher.Friday the 18th was Max's 2nd Birthday. Hurray!

He spent the day taking on and off his fireman boots.
His presents were all "B" words: Buzz Lightyear, Balloons, Book

Dinner was "P" words: Pizza, peaches, and peas (some favorite foods)
I made sugar cookies for his birthday treat. He didn't eat one bite. Maybe it was the neon green frosting!?!?

ohhhh, but he sure loved, loved, loved all the balloons he got for his birthday. Grandma and Grandpa brought some darling helium balloons that made his day. Thanks for the fun morning visit!

Just a few tidbits about Max:
- He isn't a big talker yet.

- He loves Truman. He tries to be gentle and gives lots of kisses on his head. He likes to lay on Truman while I'm feeding him.

- He has the happiest smile.

- He laughs so easily at the simplest of things.

- He likes to be like the big kids.

- He loves omelets, pizza, soup, oranges, peas, broccoli, beans, apples, hot chocolate

- He is practicing drinking out of a real cup. Lots of messes, but he loves to try.

- He likes Jesus wants me for a sunbeam song. The most recent favorite bedtime song is Popcorn popping.

- Max goes to bed so well. He lays on his tummy and tries to put his blanket over himself.

- He calls Abraham "Ham". I love it!

- He likes to call out so loudly for the kids when we are calling for them. "Han-nah"

- His favorite outing is going to the bus stop.

- His hair is so pokey and grows in a swirl. It can't be combed... hence the buzzed hair.

- He loves, loves, loves baths.

- Max has happy feet. Lately he's been walking/hopping/dancing around the house (see video below).

- He likes to yell "Beep" when the microwave timer beeps. (see video below).


We sure love Max and are glad for the happy spot he is in our family. We hope that he has a successful and fun year with little whining and lots of loves.
