Day after Thanksgiving means Trimmin' the Tree 'round here. The kids were really excited and kept commenting on how much they love our tree. The decorations on our tree are a kabumble of things... mostly wooden ornaments the kid's painted over the years. But, for now, I like it that way. It wouldn't win any glorious awards at a festival of trees, but if it makes our kid's smile, then I love it!
This is the first year Max has been aware of Christmas Trees. Mostly he takes the ornaments off and we find them all over the floor. This year we decided to put it in our main family room, instead of the closed off living room, so we can enjoy it all day long. I love the sparkle of Christmas lights.
