if i had a million dollars

Today in the car Hannah and I heard the song "If I had a million dollars." We were talking about what we would do with a million dollars. I loved Hannah's comments.

"Like you could eat ice cream every day."

"And in the summer, you could buy a snow cone every day."

Then she broadened her thoughts to:

"And I could eat at restaurants every night."

"Or go to the movies every week."

My thoughts were more along the lines of paying off all our bills and our house and then buy a new minivan. Funny how things change when you grow up.

Then we talked about how it sure would be fun to get to do those things but that we wouldn't be any happier with lots of money.

It's just funny to see how kid's think.

Another funny thing Hannah said today was when we heard the song "It's the most wonderful time of the year" holiday song. When it came to the part of, "It's the hap-happiest season of all," she said, "What?! This is not the happiest season of all." When I asked her what was the happiest season she said it was Spring. "Because all the flowers are happy. And the butterflies ... and the sunshine..." What a silly, funny gal that Hannah Banana is.
