This babe is a sweetie, I'll tell ya. He's a great eater. I was so pleased to see he had gone from 6 lb 15 oz to 8 lb 5 oz in a month. I guess they grow quickly.
He doesn't spit up very much (a miracle for our kids!). He's mostly done super at nights and only gets up every 4 hours or so. We all just love him.
He's even been practicing his smiles. I even caught a few slight ones on camera today. He has some nice fluffy hair since we actually gave him a wash today. Gotta love a clean baby!
My newborn favorites:
- Truman's sneezes. He'll sneeze like 8 times in a row and then do a few big sighs.
- Waking baby. I love when newborns stretch their arms and pull their legs up tight and arch their back. They make all sorts of funny squishy faces when they are waking up.
- Baby feet. They are so long and skinny and soft.
- Newborn smiles. Those first smiles are so precious. You can see the smile in their eyes even though it hasn't quite made it to their mouth yet.
- Truman always stares into space and we like to think his angels came to visit him. I love when he smiles when doing that. Makes me want to do better at having our home more like heaven.
We sure love our Truman.
