On Saturday the kids begged to earn some extra money. Since most of their normal chores were finished, I let them get to work on Extra jobs. Abe dusted my tree that has been collecting dust - oh for like 3 years. Hannah vacuumed the baseboards. They were happy helpers and also had fun listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks 'Had a bad day' song. It was fun to have the kids happy to work!

Max, oh Max. This kid is delightful, mischievous, into everything, busy all day long. Jimmy blew up his BYU-Idaho balloon he got trick-or-treating and it seriously entertained him for 2 days straight. It put the hugest grin on his face every time he played with it. He loves balloons. Max helped make pumpkin chocolate chip muffins today. It was quite the experience to have him and Abe both helping to stir. Max is pretty hilarious to watch eat a yogurt. It gets EVERYWHERE! He's amazing that way. And last of all - Max found the baby bouncer seat and declared it his. He got his swine flu shot today and did extraordinarily well. Mostly he loved the sucker the nurse gave him. Yay for Max!
You didn't even recognize this Tom the Turkey did you? Of course you thought it was Batman. Abe had a project for school to disguise this turkey so he wouldn't be eaten for dinner. This was the costume he wanted for him.
Drawing on pumpkins for FHE activity. Max wasn't happy unless he was digging through all the markers. Abe and Hannah quite enjoyed themselves though.
I don't know if you can tell from these photos, but these are huge tumble weeds. I've never seen so many or as huge tumble weeds as we have here in Lehi and Saratoga Springs. They are outrageous and make me laugh so hard when I see them blowing down the road.
Truman - sweet Truman. He's doing an amazing job finding his thumb lately. He's not a huge fan of his pacifier. Doesn't care much for bottles either. Most of his life he looks so serious, but he's almost smiled a few times. We sure think he's cute when he's got those eyes open checking out the world around him.

Can I just say I love these shoes I found for $24? - a steal of a deal for
Keens. They have lots of comfy room in the toes. I feel like a school girl in them, but they sure are fun.

These
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins sure hit the spot today. Loved them!

I love all the pictures of the kids. I still feel like I am getting to know them even though you are so far away. Speaking of which...I just started a blog, but I have no idea what to do. I need you much closer to help me!
