"It seems that general conference always seems to come right when my spiritual and emotional “batteries” are running the lowest. Have you felt that way too? Do you also find that your spiritual “batteries” are recharged by the messages delivered and the spirit that attends the sessions? I do. That is why I love general conference so much." Brent L. Top

I love hearing from our leaders.
I love singing the jubilant hymns and hearing the inspiring choir.
I love that I'm reminded of all that is good and true - charity, temple, priorities, revelation, joy, light, CHRIST.
I love hearing once again that I, as a woman, ought to be "Distinct and different from the world in happy ways." HAPPY - yes, always a goal.
I love that I was reminded that as I fulfill my Relief Society / Gospel Duty, the angels can be our associates. I need that strength!
Sooo... I'm excited for Conference this weekend. I hope I can glean something out of it even with tots roaming about.
“Conference time is a season of spiritual revival,” taught President Howard W. Hunter, “when knowledge and testimony are increased and solidified that God lives and blesses those who are faithful. . . . a time when souls are stirred and resolutions are made to be better husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, more obedient sons and daughters, better friends and neighbors.” (Conference Report, October 1981)

Yes, it's so rejuvinating to listen to Conference. I'm so looking forward to it this fall. Hopefully I will get to listen to some of it with the little ones running around.
Thanks for the links! It's a great help to get the kids excited for Conference and at least listen to one or two talks during one or two sessions.
