2009 Primary Theme

Soooo - I'm so excited about this. Even though I'm not serving in Primary, I've tried to stay aware of the Primary theme so I can emphasize it at home with the kids.

Well - this year, I just didn't do very well at that. :(  Lousy in fact.  It seems as though it's taken me a year to recoup from moves and baby and uhhhh - life. BUT, I'm gearing up for next year 2009 and we'll see if I do a bit better. :) There is always hope - right!

The 2009 Primary Theme is "My Eternal Family".

Can I tell you especially after having put together the upcoming documents, that I LOVE next year's Primary theme (just like I feel every year with YW/YM theme). I just felt jubilant inside when I read the themes, scriptures, and topics for discussion under each monthly theme. Pure doctrine does that!

I figured since I made it for my little fam, I may as well share it on the bloggie. Since I know who you all are!!!, please don't start some mass email to the entire world with the images or links attached. Pretty please!  I don't mind at all if you use them for personal or Primary use or share with close family and friends. Just want to keep things honest with copyrights ya know and not have some stranger start selling them or something weird.

The 4x6 & 5x7 images can be developed at a photo lab.  Here ya go:

5x7 size print has the monthly theme, scripture, and 4 subtopics for each weekly sharing time. I designed these to put on my fridge each month.

2x3 size designed to laminate back/front... punch a hole... put a ring in the top... and that creates  a zipper pull for a sunday bag for the tots. The luggage tag laminating pouches work perfect for this as they are 2 1/4 x 4 1/4. Don't try to have these printed at a photo lab because they aren't the right size - but I included the separate files to be printed at home.

4x6 size print (two 2x3 on each card; formatted for easy printing at photo lab)

thank you for making these - and most of all for sharing these. I'm hoping to do a better job this year of using the monthly scripture and themes in our morning devotionals and these will be great to use - I love the idea of the 2x3 size so each child can have their own set.

Yep, it's official, you're my new hero--those are amazing! What a great, adorable way to display the themes for each month throughout the year. You just accomplished a goal of mine for me (though yours look way cooler than mine ever would have)--thank you thank you for sharing your talents (and for inviting me to your blog so I could partake :)
