Cutting hairs

I admit - I encouraged short hair. Jimmy, on the other hand, did NOT encourage her!

Hannah doesn't like to keep her hair things in. Her hair gets snarly with sleep bumpies. I don't take the time to do it thoroughly every day so it ends up in a ponytail on most days if we go out.

Since she at least needed a trim I asked her what she wanted - short or long hair? She really really REALLY wanted short hair. I think she mostly wanted something new for kindergarten and she was excited about a fun change. So we went for it.

Here are the before and after shots.
I admit - I miss her cute school-girl braids and long smooth hair. But she loves her new hair style. She has 2 cowlicks in the back of her hair which prevent it from just naturally curling under but I still think it's cute. And plus - no more big snarls!!!

Hey, that turned out great. I loved the picture on the above post when she dressed just like you complete with sunglasses on the head. Too funny. Your kids really are fun people.
