Driving home from the Primary Activity I saw these 2 deer taking a swim through our neighbor lake.
The kids had a pioneer games activity. My kids were about the only ones dressed up. I sure thought they looked cute though. They both loved the 3-legged race the most.
Abe hates posing for photos so he's showing us his dance in these. You go Abe! I love that his hat is all mashed.
All day Saturday was spent with Jimmy behind this trench digger. The poor man is sunburned with sore muscles. Hard work does a body good? He can't even believe how many
ginormous rocks are in the ground. He's putting in our sprinkler system in the next few weeks. Hurray! Paul and Michael, his brothers came to help out. Thanks guys!
I've been thinking alot about grass. I hope we'll have grass in heaven because honestly it's just so nice and soft compared to dirt. At the end of Saturday I vacuumed and mopped and was amazed that our kitchen floor was free from dirt. Think of all the humans throughout time and how many had a nice lovely yard of grass?? - not very many. I look forward to the day when we have the green stuff surrounding our house. Yes, I believe grass will be in heaven ... (weed free of course!)
