Today Max laughed for the first time without being tickled. Hurray! He was all snuggled in his towel and I was patting his bottom and talking to him. He just started laughing and smiling. Sometimes I wonder if he was laughing AT me rather than WITH me. Babies are so purely happy - I want to be like that!!!
Hannah has been the best entertainment for Maxwell lately. She'll dance around and make up silly songs for almost an hour and he loves it. Today she was telling him all about kindergarten (she is looking forward to going this fall). She uses such an animated voice and is so smiley that he can't help but smile.

Family love is the best. I'm trying to teach my kids that they need to be each other's best friends and that they are lucky to have each other. Hopefully this new baby isn't looking down from heaven in apprehension at what he is in for in our wild and crazy home. :)
