This morning, to celebrate St. Patty's Day (well - that actually was a coincidence... but we did wear green!), we headed to M.O.M. (Movies on Monday). It's staged to be a fun and easy-going environment to take kiddos. Plus, it's only $5.50 for the mom and kids under 5 are free. Today's film was 'Horton hears a Who'. Hannah thought it was totally funny. I don't think Abe understood the entire idea of it... with Who-ville world located inside a tiny speck. But since they had never been to a movie theater before, the entire experience was ubber-exciting for both of them. We took our own popcorn and water and snacks and they quite enjoyed themselves.
For those who have asked about scrapbooking stuff. No - I don't scrapbook every day (though that would be a fun thing for me). I totally go in spurts. Lately it has been my fun down-time during my kids quiet time. I do like to quickly scrap family outings since those are the most important to me to record. And it's fun to scrap new photos when my memory of the funny moments are fresh in my mind. I have other scrapbook info here.

Fun! I have been hearing that Horton is a good movie to see.
That is so fun to have a M.O.M. I wish somewhere around here did that. I bet your kids loved it! Dave and I took our kids on Saturday to see this and they got their own kid's pack of popcorn, gummy snacks and a drink. They were in heaven. It was a lot of fun! I love it when new family movies come out. You're such a great mom Heath!
That was "ubber" fun! thanks for going, and sorry we couldn't sit together for the whole show... :) You were smart to take a camera. Go to www.hortonmovie.com (I think)--they have some games for kids, etc. mY KIDS loved the site after watching the show.
fun times! you were brave to go without jimmy! our popcorn expense was more than the movie for our entire family. seriously. that's how much we have to buy. annalise kept refilling her bag from mine too. it's getting out of hand!
if anybody would like a free ticket to this movie, comment on my blog and i'll mail you one. we forgot to use it!!
