Motherhood = Messy business

This ridiculous photo from today reminds me why I only wear t-shirts from Target & jeans or sweats every day as a mother. This spitup targeted the inside & outside of my shirt. Icky-Sticky! Maxwell has gone through 3 burprags and 2 mom shirts with his 6 or so spitups thus far today. And Mr. Squishy (my endearing name for Max because he has such squishy facial expressions) is full of wah-wah-wah cries today. Poor kiddo must not be feeling well. I love, love, love Mr. Squishy but let's try to aim for the burp rag next time buddy!

p.s. later this afternoon: Mr. Squishy is forgiven as this afternoon he stopped crying to smile at us for five minutes. Plus - he has the cutest feet ever and so we can't be mad at him for long. Abe has informed me that "his name not squishy... his name is Maxwell." Ok - he can be Max again.

What a great photo Heath! I love it! Good luck with the spit-up thing! It's such a motherhood moment when it gets all over you as well as your babe. You are so cute!

Naughty 'lil Maxwell! At least it wasnt' in your hair too! Lise did that to me a few times. I think the expression on your face says it all!

Oh how I know that too well. Lacy was the same way. I can smell it just by looking at your picture!

I thought I was so lucky to get a boy who didn't spit up much, and Brennan doesn't... too much. But today I held him up over me and he spit up right down into my shirt! What a shot!
Hey, Camille says you are going to get your hair cut on Wednesday--make sure you stop by and say hi, and if you need, I can watch your kids!

Wow, You've got me motivated to go get some things done. That was my problem, I just needed to change my perspective.

Heath - you have to go to the Tuesday Tell All page (on my blog list) and go to Amanda (2nd one down on the public bloggers). Her post made me think of you and your volcano babies. :)

Oh, boy! the increased laundry load for the parents of babies is actually a HUGE deal! What a cute little squishy Maxwell!
