Princess Wishes

Tonight was the spectacular event of Disney on Ice - Princess Wishes. Hannah invited her friend Abbey. Jimmy and I took the girls while Abe stayed with Abbey's family (he totally had a great time playing with her older brother John who has the coolest cars and toy Hummers).

I think the girls had a wonderful time (except that one scary part during Sleeping Beauty). Hannah said her favorite part was the sweet part of Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. And she loved using the binoculars even though they weren't really necessary. Jimmy liked Aladdin. My favorite part was seeing the grins on the girls faces as they watched the Princess ice dancers. They were so excited once they heard the music and figured out what each new scene was. Being the emotional pregnant lady that I am, I almost cried at their delight...silly - I know. But it's fun to see kids so amazed and wide-eyed.

At 9 p.m., after 10 minutes in the car on the ride home, both girls fell asleep. Hannah really does sit with her legs crossed and her hands placed like that. Hopefully tonight was a fun memory for the girls. And thanks to dear Jimmy who made the effort to get the free tickets (see post last month 'Sweet and Grateful'). What a nice daddy to attend a totally girlie princess show for his sweetie Hannah.

What a fun time! I am so glad you got to go. I hear you about the emotions over their delight, I almost cry over things like that all the time and I'm not even pregnant. I love how sweet Hannah sits with her legs crossed and her hands. She is so so cute. And how fun for her to take a friend. What great pictures! I'm so glad you shared! You and Jimmy are cute. I really wish Dave and I lived close to you guys so we could do fun couple things together.

Hello! Do you need glasses, Heath? They are way cute, but um, I thought you had LASIK?!?

Sounds really cool to go to Disney on Ice. Jane loves it, too. Way cool (ice-cool, get it?).
