Today I decided to take some photos as PROOF that Hannah does receive mail. She loves checking the mail and 99% of the time is disappointed that there is nothing for her. Some discouraging days, she whines that she 'never' gets mail. I think perhaps her expectations are a wee bit too high considering that even I, as an adult, rarely get happy mail. But today her penpal Lexi's letter arrived. Hannah was elated. I think we'll start putting any mail she gets in her scrapbook so that she can rejoice on no-mail days that she has friends somewhere out there who thought of her. Funny - the things that occupy a little girlies mind. Thanks Lexi for the necklace and pretty princess drawings.

You've Got Mail

How cute for Lexie to be her penpal. What a fun idea for the two of them. Alison, nice job making it extra fun with a necklace! Very cute.
Lexi loved seeing these photos of Hannah with her necklace and picture. She was really excited to see Hannah standing by your mailbox and seeing that it got to you! Thanks for posting such a cute scrapbook page. That is such a fun idea. Lexi loves Hannah and loves being her penpal!
