Heroes

Last night after a long day with the kids and Jimmy's long church meetings, Jimmy and I sat down and ate soup and blue jello and then popcorn and then rootbeer icecream (yum) AND watched this Heroes DVD by John Bytheway. I really enjoyed it. It is a fireside set at the Hale Center Theater that they just recorded. He talks about some of his Heroes in the Book of Mormon and tells the stories behind the people. It was really uplifting and reminded me how much I love diving into the scriptures and feeling the power and Spirit in those stories. And it also reminded me that I need to do better at making time for SCRIPTURE POWER MOMENTS. So, if anyone is interested in viewing it, let me know and I'll MediaMail it to you. Also on BYUtv.org yesterday I saw a few programs that I wanted to watch. One was the standards night fireside by John Bytheway and Innovators by Sam Cardon and Kurt Bestor. Hannah always loves Saturday's Warriors but alas - we couldn't find it anywhere on the BYUtv schedule.

In other medical news: we took Abe to the doctor this morning. He is now on a steroid for his breathing, an antibiotic for his green boogy nose, and Albuterol through the nebulizer also for his breathing. He's had a slight fever and a horrible barky cough. Poor little buddy! But he should soon be on the mend.

No fun for Abe. I hope he gets better and all those meds help.

So sorry about Abe the babe! Standards Night Live is awesome! Our neighbors (the bishop) gave it to us for Christmas. And Wade just recently watched Saturday's Warriors on BYU-tv. Look at Sunday February 25 at 12 am. Love BYU-TV!
