As many of you are aware, frequently when I make an effort to bake a tasty treat, something inevitably goes wrong. Tonight I made apple crisp and hoped it would be tasty. I used Fuji Apples which were hard but not too tart. Immediately after dinner, I had a serving so I could eat it warm. And may I just say that it was the best apple crisp I've ever made. I went outside with the fresh cool autumn air and sat in the swing and watched the kids run around. It definitely was one of the shining moments for today.
