Feelin' blue?

We had an awesome thunderstorm roll through today. We had some pouring rain, lightning, and thunder. This may not seem significant for the easterners except for that this is Utah and we don't get much rain 'round here.

Yesterday I smelled AUTUMN in the air so perhaps we're in for cooler temps and more rain. Yay!

But for today - a rainy thundery day seemed to fit this Monday.1. Both hands, 2. Blue power!, 3. Butterfly in Blue, 4. Another view of Santorini, 5. Cookie Monster, 6. blue [leaf], 7. Amazing Blue Flower, 8. Beneath The Blue Sky II, 9. Water is Life

Fragmentary Blue by Robert Frost

Why make so much of fragmentary blue
In here and there a bird, or butterfly,
Or flower, or wearing-stone, or open eye,
When heaven presents in sheets the solid hue?

Since earth is earth, perhaps, not heaven (as yet)--
Though some savants make earth include the sky;
And blue so far above us comes so high,
It only gives our wish for blue a whet.

(Ok - so I'm not the best poem analyst. Not quite sure of all the imagery here, but thought it interesting to write an entire poem about blue)
