Goggle-Up Matey

One thing Abe's been up to this summer is taking showers. He has previously preferred baths because he doesn't like all the water in his eyes. Well - using goggles has been his solution to dealing with the water. He is always so silly taking a shower with his goggles. He thinks it's just so funny (as you can see by his pictures!). Just one of those growing up things that is fun to note.p.s. I love, love, love bathtime or showertime because it means dirt-encrusted kids are transformed into tidy little yummy smelling tots. I'm so grateful for warm running water, yummy smelling shampoos, washclothes, and drains for all that dirt to be washed into!

And yes, it's really midnight. I need to calm myself from all the evening chores (getting-ready-for-school laundry and such!!) before heading to bed. I now really understand what my dad calls "PUTTERING." I think moms need to mellow out their emotions and body and nerves from a long day's work before crashing into bed. Finally there! Yay!
