Gratitude Journey : November 8

Bedtime Songs: Usually I sing a few songs to Abe and Max before bed. Tonight Abe offered to sing me a song... Army of Helaman. It was sweet and sincere. Max came over to Abe's bed and tried to sing along. Music is good. Music at bedtime with love is good.

A husband's love: I'm forever grateful for Jimmy who is somehow able to be patient with me in spite of my crazy emotions and impatient days. The wonderful man came home from errands with a dozen red roses for me and Hannah. He is good to me.

Family Ruckus Night... I mean Family Home Evening. Tonight we attempted to have a spiritual testimony meeting as a family - in honor of Hannah's baptism on Saturday. We ended up with a 2-year-old being squirrelly and a 1-year-old running around laughing with a blanket on his head (or screaming if we prevented him from running). It was bonkers. But, I somehow feel glad that we made the effort despite the craziness and energy of 3 boys. I'm grateful we try to be consistent for I know the Lord will bless our efforts.

Wonderful Teachers: I got an email from Abe's teacher tonight. Every day I am so grateful for her. She sees the good in Abe. She helps him find excitement in learning. She praises his efforts. It makes my heart so glad to know he is in good hands this year.
