My Beautiful, Ordinary Life: I know I say this a lot... people may wonder if I really mean it. Yes, I do mean it. Some days I feel it deeply and sincerely ... some days I remind myself over and over and over (like today) that I wouldn't change much about my life and that yes, I do love the fun adventures and growing opportunities. Obviously some days it's harder to think about enjoying all the yucky hard stuff. I'm not sprightly (i've wanted to use that word for a while now!), and chipper, and energetic, jumping with enthusiasm every second of my life, but my life is good and blessed and full. Grateful to be alive!
Hannah: This little gal stepped up today. She knew it was a hard day for me. She tried to do her chores well ... and she did a few extra. She apologized to Abe after they fought ... and she tried harder. She apologized to me for fighting with Abe and gave lots of sincere hugs. She helped Max when we were at the doctor's office for little Tru. I appreciate all Hannah does. I know I expect a lot of her since she's my girlie and the oldest. She is a happy helper and puts up with a lot from her brothers (and her mother!). We love you cute Hannah Mae. Here she is sorting through the Christmas books to take one up to bed to read.

Love those little helpers! What a good Christmas Elf. Mae likes to read Christmas stories before bed, too!
