Gratitude Journey : November 27

180 minutes of fun: On our drive home from a family activity in Provo, Abe asked how many minutes of fun we had. I told him we were gone 3 hours and he was amazed at all that fun we had. Jimmy took the 3 oldest bowling while I glanced at the Carl Bloch exhibit at the Museum of Art. The paintings were lovely. Tru and I caught up with the others in the bowling alley to enjoy their excitement. They were enjoying themselves and giving lots of high-fives. We snagged a free Animated Scriptures DVD in the BYU Bookstore (ok - really i had to listen to the guy's sales pitch) and then found some dry autumn leaves to crunch, crunch, crunch. Next we headed to Uncle Paul's to say hi quick-like... and to sneak a peek at the BYU game. Then to D.I. to drop off some goods. And Macey's won out for ice cream cones and donuts (and more of the BYU game) while mom did some quick shopping. It was a fun afternoon with the fam.

Scriptures: They are just plain good for the soul. I love the Book of Mormon. Today I memorized Helaman 5:12 while walking on the treadmill. I sang it to Called to Serve... and sang it to the fam the rest of the day to try and remember it. The scriptures do good things... like remind me of what is important and good.
