a blustery day + 1 mom with a nasty rash + 4 kids on a friday = nothing left to do but make apple fritters, pioneer woman style.
a rainy saturday + a morning of hard work accomplished + snow on Mt. Timp + quiet time for kids = nothing left to do but make Ruth's Sweet Potato Casserole.
Really there is always something to do... like scrub those toilets... but making comfort foods is important too - right?!
At least I enjoyed some tasty treats.

Did you really make the apple fritters? We must have them. I'll make them for FHE with the kids. Ymmmm.
