A killer week - with bits of JOY

Love the date today...Happy Birthday Mary!...
Honestly, it was a hard week for me. Majorly failed attempt to potty-train... and we had such hopes and cheer about it. And Max lasted... oh, like 3 hours. I know - not a very valiant attempt, but I could tell that boy was fearful of it all. Sigh... I'll gear myself up for it later.

I feel bad that we didn't have very many photos of the good stuff... or that most were of Tru. Lack of photos usually means mom wasn't in the most chipper mood to find joy in the every day. At least we had some moments of CHEER. I got to play volleyball which was fun, until the next day when I couldn't move my muscles. But the kids did well this week. We had parent-teacher conference and the kid's teachers were very complimentary of them.... it's always a good thing to hear praise about the tots.

A video of Max's Knock-knock joke that the kid's taught him.

Max can hardly say a sentence, but he can tell a joke, "Knock-knock. Who's there? Mom who?" Funny when he says it because he's so smiley.
