really... isn't this kiddo cute?
he held still and smiled for me. yay!
his skills:
- biting
- screaming
- gurgling. (I'll take gurgling).
he's happy when:
- on the stairs
- outside and free
- in the bath
none of which are safe for this tot at his age.
he's a picky eater. he doesn't like baby food, but doesn't care for much real food... which causes problems when trying to keep his tummy full.
he does like cheese though.
this boy has energy. i can hardly believe how constant and on-the-go he is. he can even say "go, go, go"
he likes to climb completely into the kid's cup/plate cupboard and throw everything out.
he likes to empty the books off the shelf - like 10 times a day. i finally shoved them all in so tightly so he can't get them anymore... neither can anyone else though.
he likes to dive into the ball bin outside. he goes for the smallest balls at the very bottom. he occasionally goes in head first.
i took him to the doc on saturday feeling quite certain he had an ear infection... after all, what else would make this boy so cranky. but alas - no ear infection. crankiness must be caused by something else.... teething... boogie cold... 4th child syndrome. we now know he weighs 19.4 lbs though.
we really do love, love, love tru. i need to give him a break ... after all, he provides us plenty of joy as well.
- when we can get him to laugh ... he has a really awesome chuckle.
- he has awesome fuzzy kinks in his hair in the morning.
- i love when he smiles when we walk into the room.
- he has taken a few little steps on his own. we clap and cheer for him. he likes it.
- i like when we lift him up and he kicks his legs in great excitement.
- he really likes to swing. i love the laugh when he's delighted.
looks like tru decided not to take an afternoon nap today. off to save him from the crib.

Oh Heath, he is so cute. Love those cute front teeth! Such a fun BUSY age, tho I don't know if boys ever slow down much or quit climbing! :) Loves!
P.S. Looks like you had such a nice day on Jimmy's birthday. I love those dates best where it is something nice like dinner, and especially conference, and then to buy diapers. We'll miss those dates one day when our kiddos are grown won't we!
OH - he is the sweetest thing!! Sounds like our little boys are like 2 peas in a pod. They have similar skills, interests, and eating habits!!
