This week has been spent figuring out what needs to change in our family life so I can survive physically and emotionally. When mama spends all her time caring for others, she crashes eventually. So - we're mending that.
Healthy eating.
Vitamins.
Early to bed.
Water. Water.
Relax, stretch, breathe.
Positive thoughts.
Smile.
Spiritual uplift.
Nature time.
Simplify.
Rejuvenate.
Love. Love. Love.
I just read the Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. One thing that keeps coming back to me is this quote from him:
"Too many people go through life complaining about their problems. I've always believed that if you took one-tenth the energy you put into complaining and applied it to solving the problem, you'd be surprised by how well things can work out. ... Complaining does not work as a strategy. Any time we spend whining is unlikely to help us achieve our goals. And it won't make us happier."
I've been stuck in draining-complaining a bit. Any energy I have ought to go towards my goal of being a healthy, happy mother who can keep the household and family functioning properly... and not towards complaining about all that is wrong in life.
I like this quote that Stephanie Ackerman shared today. Just a reminder to find my best self... my positive happy healthy self ... to do the best I know how.

Thanks for the positive words! It is nice to know someone other than me has a few meltdowns. :)
