colorful summer - week 8

After attending Paul & John's softball game last week, the kids wanted to go to a real ball diamond to play some ball. For FHE we practiced our skills batting and running around the bases. The kids are getting pretty good at hitting the ball! Go Team!

This week we ventured into the paleontology world of dinosaurs at BYU. It was a small museum, but great for a free activity! Abe loved seeing all the big dinosaurs. We went to the BYU creamery to get ice cream cones afterwards... which were loved by all!

We had a pretty mellow Pioneer Day - 24th of July. We rose early to go to the scouts Flag ceremony (headed up by Jimmy). They did a great job and the kids enjoyed the donuts. Afterwards we went on a bike ride/walk and Abe wiped out so we all came home. We stayed at home and cleaned and played the rest of the day.
