This I've realized:
A good mother I can be. (well... trying my best, that is)
An okay housekeeper I could be...
but a good housekeeper and a good mother of 4 tots...
this is much harder than I ever expected.
Thus... a counter full of dishes... not every day... but some days... such as this Saturday.
We spent our time elsewhere... washing cars as a family, daddy-daughter date/errands, watching kids whizz down the slide into the pool, eating creamies, hanging pictures in little boy's room, tidying other parts of the house, and other such Saturday stuff. Sigh...
Back to my point.
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?
Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?
If you guessed this one is not like the others,
Then you're absolutely...right!
(Sesame Street)
Here is the color version? Does that help?
Oh, sweet children who do such a wonderful job teeter-tottering large dishes on top of small ones (and somehow stack shoes that do not EVER belong on the counter). But - they are helping... that I appreciate. I know I'll laugh someday because I'm even laughing tonight.

Love the shoe, and the stacking job. It reminds me of my life, trying to keep up anyway. My kids usually just throw dishes into the sink and I hope they don't break. I should teach them how to stack like your kids.
Ha, ha! The first one looks quite old fashioned. Did you run the shoe through the dishwasher? Love your colorful words!
