I love ...

what do i love? ... well, first, I love these cute states designs by q.a. design on etsy.

Second, I love thinking sbout all the good things about the different places I've lived. Oh - there are a few not-so-good things like traffic, crime, heat, bugs, distance from family, etc... but overall, I'm grateful for the experiences we've had thus far in each state.

Idaho: my homeland. I love that I grew up in a small town with good friends. I love the fields, the sprinklers, the clouds, the mountains in the distance.

Florida: 2001-2003. Ft. Lauderdale. Loved going to the beach, picking seashells, listening to the waves crash in, the sand. Loved our ward... everyone needed each other because hardly anyone had family nearby. Disney World, alligators, daily rain storms, lighthouses, drive to Florida Keys, green, green, green. Florida is a fun place.

Arizona: 2003-2005. School. MBA Students. Learning. Apartment. YW President. Great people. Really hot. Interesting Cactus. Swimming!!! Cousins close by. Grand Canyon. Sedona. Loved our Bishop!!!

Tennessee: 2005-2008. Loved our house & yard. Our Forest. 1st Swingset. Great people. Dear friends. Mississippi River - Mud Island. BBQ. Trees. FedEx. Lots of Rain.  Green.  Southern accents - loved that!

Utah: 2008-present. MOUNTAINS!!! Hiking. Activities geared to families. River Trail. Close to family - so good! Cowboy boots. Great house for our needs. 2nd swingset. 1st garden. Laid back city... drive slow. Good folks in Lehi. Working for the Church.

Why Hawaii, you ask? No - this is not an announcement of a big move. Lately, I think it would be fun to move to Hawaii for a year or two. Jimmy could work at BYU-H? Right? Wouldn't it be a cool cultural experience? But then I think of tarantellas, home prices, no free amazon shipping, a flight across the big vast ocean, & bugs & such... hmmm...

So - the common factor in all these places - Great People!... I love thinking of all our friends all over and how they influenced us for good. My friends weren't always people my age. I admire so many for all the good they do in their homes and community. They raise good kids in spite of the worldly environment surrounding them. I love knowing so many good, good folks!
