little Tru...
cute little Tru...
He found his voice. I think he felt he had to. He had to be heard ... heard above the ruckus of the other 3 tots.
His cry has changed. It seems to have more of a purpose ... like he's making a statement. Sometimes I think he wants to boss us ... "Mom, why aren't you picking me up!"
He squawks when he's hungry and sitting in his chair and we're not feeding him. Or squawking because he wants out and is tired of pounding rice krispies into the tray... while I make dinner.
Patience, little one.
He squawks when we put him on the floor to play and he wants us to hold him.
Patience, little one.
He inchworms along after us and squawks because he's too slow and can't keep up.
Patience, little one.
He squawks when we lay him down to change his diaper... for he wants to flip over and inchworm to a toy.
Patience, little one.
Poor little babe. His mother has 3 other tots to look after and he has to find his way and be patient. I'm glad for a good 4th baby!
Mostly - I like it ... I like that my little one found his voice. Oh - it's hard.... hard to listen to a loud baby crying so forcefully. But we do what we can to help him along (we really do... we don't just take pictures of a crying baby every day... but honestly, isn't he cute in those pictures? Usually he's smiling but then gets fed up with us and let's us know who's boss. Mostly I took that photo of the baby food because it matched the puke color of his sweatshirt.)
I'm glad he has a voice ... to make his way in this family.
Here's a small and mild portion of his little voice in this video. He did this in between every bite.
