We are a Gaggle ... "Come along tots"

We merely went to Costco to pick up some prints ... only ... it's the Friday before Memorial Day ... which especially in Utah - the camping state of the west (at least it seems like it with the multitude of RVs here)... Costco was busy.

I was the mother duck with 3 little ducklings following (well... sometimes following). I should have gotten a cart... but afterall, we were only going to be a moment - right? Well - it took longer than anticipated due to lines and dysfunctional machines.  The kids entertained themselves by zooming their hands on the huge tv boxes.  It made a whoooosh sound which made Abe laugh.

Then, "Mom, I really have to go to the bathroom?" Really - we just left home. Lesson 1 of summer: Always have tots go potty before leaving the house.

After getting the prints and darting in and out of carts (it's a wild place I'll tell ya)... we made it to the restrooms. We all waited in the hall while tot #2 did his business. Then we heard hysterical laughter coming from the men's restroom.

Have you seen the new Dyson Airblade hand dryers... well, I need a few in my house (except I don't need the $1200 price tag). They work ultra fast. And Abe thinks they are pretty much AWESOME. Who needs Disneyland, when you've got cool hand dryers to entertain you.

Then I got to thinking.... phew... we can barely handle Costco... how could we ever survive Disneyland with 4 tots in tow?

And that is why my little gaggle of geese will be staying close to home this summer. I find myself always looking around me counting little people's heads. I always think someone is missing. But nope - we have all 4.

On my way out the door at Costco, I really just had to laugh. Luckily, no one got run over by a cart. No one fell and hurt themselves. No one even cried. We are survivors of Costco! (Next time, I'm arming myself with a cart and having ALL the ducklings sit in it... even for a quick trip to the photo counter).

We also have issues with the potty problem. Honestly! And we have also experienced the cool air dryers--its fun to watch your skin move around, Mom! : )
