Darling Mr. Abraham is 6 years old today. He has been counting down the days and just bubbling with excitement for his birthday.
The celebrations started on Sunday with Jimmy's siblings... Paul, John, and Julie. Julie made a cool baseball cake (vanilla style). Abe requested waffles for lunch (well... waffles and chicken, but he bailed on the chicken). The adults made them grand with fruit and fresh whipped cream. Yum! Abe loved getting some new cars and a case from Aunt Julie and Uncle Paul and Uncle John. We are glad to live so close to some of the Smiths.
Today - the actually birthday was a busy, busy day.
Pancakes for Breakfast and opening 2 presents...
school...
field day...
chicken nuggets and french fries for lunch...
play day with Garrett & Jacob...
early spaghetti dinner...
Hannah's patriotic program...
presents and cake with Grandma, Grandpa, Julie, and Brock...
and then ... bed. I know he's one tired boy.
I think Abe had a pretty fun day. There was so much going on, that I know he'll be excited in the next few days to play with his presents. He said his favorite presents were Toy Story Legos and Pluto Planet Hero. He got something to read, something to build, something to play with, something to eat, and something to do outside. He thought that was cool.
Abe helped make his cake today. He wanted vanilla cake with vanilla frosting with a blue 6. He was very specific that he wanted it in that pan too. And... he enjoyed it!
We sure love Abe and appreciate the excitement and love he brings to our family. He's a great kid! Happy 6th Birthday buddy.
My favorite photo from today. My Happy little Abe!

What a fun, amazing day! We love you, Abe! Happy day!
Hooray for Mr. Abe! We always think of him on his birthday because it's the day before Porter's. Porter wants to meet him someday. He thinks they would be great friends!
