Let's give Max a time to shine too... even though he's not in school.
This kiddo is funny.
Just plain funny... (well, and just plain 2!)
Have you ever read Come Along Daisy. It's a cute little book about a little duck who doesn't keep up with her mother. She gets lost and learns her lesson about staying close to mom. Every time Max lags behind to enjoy the rocks, the drain, the grass, the airplanes in the sky, I say, "Come Along Max." I sure say it alot... especially when we go on walks. He loves to lally-gag and enjoy EVERYTHING to its fullest.
If you can't find Max, look 20 steps behind you on the sidewalk. He's by the drain. He's throwing rocks or grass into the drain saying, "Water." He loves those drains. He's very independent these days and if we help him do things, he redoes it by himself. He'll get back out of the car just to climb up by himself. He's 2!
Let's see - a quickie review of the photos.
1 - Soup. Max loves soup. It's so funny how he exclaims after every bite even after 2 or 3 bowls of soup. The other night he just had gloobs of noodles on his forehead and cheeks. This photo shows a few remnants after getting wiped. I love the one by his nose. Funny, cute Max.
2 - He sat right by Truman to pose for a photo.
3 - Naked little boy running around the backyard while Dad was home teaching. I do my best to keep him clothed.
4 - Max loves to visit the kids at school. This was field day with Abe.
5 - Super fun tube to crawl through on an obstacle course at Abe's field day.
6. Taking LOTS of time blowing so many dandelions at Field Day. I took our time and let him run around and blow a lot. I liked it. Every kid needs to blow lots of dandelions. It's life!
7. Example of a drain Max loves.
8. Going at his own pace. Not in a hurry... actually toward another drain he found.
We love our Max. This week he's been singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. He sings it so fast and then loses the words in the middle. But I love that he tries. This is definitely progress for the little man. Here's the video:
