The day finally came - we got a basketball hoop. This is something the kid's have looked forward to for a long time. Here is all the prep work Jimmy did. He took extra care to save the cement with a covered tarp since it rained within 12 hours of pouring it. eekkk.. The kids enjoyed helping, as usual. I asked Hannah to go outside and take a picture of Jimmy working. She came back in with 20 pictures and a message from dad that she could stop taking photos. She got some very interesting angles and shots. And Jimmy did great work as usual.
And the kids enjoyed it thoroughly. Hopefully nobody will get too many bonks. And I had a major discussion with the tots about not following the balls into the road. Pray that they are safe! I'm a worrier ya know. I may have to park myself at the end of the driveway to remind them.
I love the look of surprise and delight on the kid's faces when they make a shot.
Here's little Max who begged and begged to be lifted up to make a basket. Go Maxwell!

Wow! Perfect addition to your family. It's true that a busy mom will sometimes have to send the camera with one of the kids. Many things going on at once in the family, you know. Hannah did a splendid job.
Have fun!
Yeah! It looks great! What a great family activity to do together.
Oh we are jealous! Kyler would be in heaven with a basketball hoop. It looks so nice and summery at your house. How fun! Enjoy!
Ryan is jealous! He keeps telling me we need to get one, but until our funds increase...it wont happen any time soon.
Have fun and enjoy it.
