When I walked in the house with a Hot-N-Ready Little Ceasar's Pizza, Hannah excitedly declared, "Today is the best day of my life.
I had the walk-a-thon, mom came to my class for fairy tale friday,
I got a popsicle, AND we're having pizza."
We ate our Pizza and Root beer outside on the picnic table. Somehow Max decided to be a kid instead of a baby and kept trying to add to the family conversation.
The kids talked about helping the neighbors gather rocks from their yard.
Max said "Rock, Rock, Rock" until someone acknowledged him. Other things he repeated, "Table," "sicle," "root beer," "sure"(this is a new one). We like Max. We do wish he wouldn't fall off the table in the middle of the prayer. Steady buddy!
Abe talked about friends, "My best friend is Garrett." (this changes daily going between Jacob and Garrett).
Then Hannah yells loudly from the swing in response to Abe, "My best friend is Jesus."
I'm sure our neighbors hear everything coming from our yard. I feel like the loud people on the street.
After eating a sugar-free popsicle Abe said, "I love Sugar. It is AWESOME. "
It was all very comical to me. Kinda like that funny dinner conversation in 'While you were sleeping'.... "These mashed-potatoes are so creamy" one. Conversations with kids are so funny and awesome.
(The pictures above were from the Snow Springs Walk-a-thon which helped raise money for the school. It was so wild and crazy with kids running everywhere. Max, Tru, and I joined them for the festivities. The kids had fun running around the cones. Track stars in the making...)

If your kids are the loudest in the neighborhood, I want to live there. It's got to just be a perception since you live closer to them than to all the other little children!
Fairy tale Friday! Awesome! I love how kids see the little things as making the best days of their lives. I'm taking a hint from that!
