Signs of Spring

It's not quite green here. In fact, we had a snowstorm this weekend. It has since melted and today there is sunshine. Cold, but sunny.

Yesterday I drove on the small curved road through the cow pasture. It connects our neighborhood to the road by our church. I noticed they recently put a large herd of black cows and new baby calves in that pasture. Animals are so cute when they are small. That is a sign to me that spring is coming.

Then I drove by the Lake of Shining Waters in our neighborhood. I saw baby ducks swimming in the pond with their mamas. I know Spring is not too far away.

The geese are back. I hear birds chirping. Spring is almost here.

General Conference is in a few weeks so I know they are preparing the Salt Lake Temple grounds with oodles of brightly colored flowers. I need to plan a trip to see them... for spring is coming.

Today I opened my windows to air out the house. Oh - I rejoice in fresh air... even if it's chilly.

I even feel like getting some spring cleaning done. Wash that grime off the windows. Clean out closets. Well, we'll see what I can do about all that.

I can't wait for warmer sunny days, green grass, my tulips to grow and bloom, less wind, and lots of morning walks.

Here are some fun ideas to celebrate the coming of Spring.

1. Canada Goose, 2. "Enjoy yourself. It's later than you think." ~Chinese Proverb, 3. Dare to be Different..., 4. Temple Square Tulips 4, 5. The chosen one, 6. I did like my old rain boots but..., 7. Spring fountain at Temple Square, 8. Name That Duck!, 9. Raindrops with the Refraction of a Green Jungle in my Garden
