Abe's time to SHINE

Today Abe had a talent show in his Kindergarten class at school. It was so fun to see some ofthe talents of his classmates. Abe said his favorite was a cowgirl dance one girl did. I loved Maddie who ran back and forth and back and forth in the classroom to share her talent of running. One boy sang God Bless America and did Sign Language. And one boy put his hand in a fist and played that one silly song on the black notes of the piano. It was soooo boy and so cute!

Abe shared his talent of building legos. This is what he said,
"One of my talents is building legos.
This is the helicopter I built.
This is the car I built.
These are the 3 houses I built.
And this is the Star Wars that I built."
He did great. He told me he wasn't even scared to get up in front of everyone to share his talent.

I just wanted to share another talent I think Abe has. His teacher worded it well on his recent report card,

"Abe has a wonderful smile,

and I enjoy how genuinely happy he is!"

That is so true. Abe really is a happy kid. He bounces off the bus happy every single day (well, I do remember 2 days when he was a little sad because kids were mean on the bus). He has a sincere joy about him which I really love!

Another thing Abe really enjoys doing and is good at is playing the wii. I love that he burns some energy playing the sports games. It has been great for this wintertime. He is the best in the family at yoga. He also loves boxing, kung-fu, nerf sword play, and bowling.

Yesterday Abe was practicing jumprope with Hannah. He tried and tried and tried. And he kept laughing so hard when he fell. He was really a good sport.
Here is the video of him laughing so hard during his practicing.

We sure love Abe and all his enthusiasm for life!
